You know when you see a couple in a public place and without even knowing anything about them you can just tell that they are perfect for each other?  The couple that pretty much smiles from ear to ear the entire time they look at each other?  The ones that burst out into spontaneous laughter and then cuddle into one another with such ease?   Well, that is the kind of couple that Diana and Kevin are.  We had so much fun on their engagement shoot and it was so easy to capture amazing images that completely depict the feelings they have for one another.  I love that Diana brought her guitar along and that without even asking him Kevin got it out of the trunk and started carrying it for her into an open field.  They are so excited during this planning phase of their engagement.  They are so in love and so happy.  I can't wait to capture their wedding story next summer!  [I'll post a few more of my favourite images from this session on our FB fan page].

Andrea and Brandon are busy planning their winter wedding to take place on Feb. 18th next year.  I can't believe how fast it's approaching.  Brandon has been a friend of ours for a number of years.  In fact, Brian and Brandon car pooled to work in Guelph long before we ever started filming weddings.  When he contacted us to tell us he had proposed we couldn't wait to meet Andrea.  She is a beautiful girl and we are so happy for the two of them.  Last month we spent an hour together in the Redhill Creek ravine for their engagement session - I love their images.  Here are a few of my favourites.

We first met Jelena and Ivan last September when Andja, Jelena's sister, was married.  We had so much fun that day - here's the link to their crazy SDE in case you missed the bartering for the bride and the rest of the festivities.
When Jelena and Ivan contacted us we knew theirs would also be an amazing wedding story and we're so excited to be capturing their day next Spring.  I had a really great time driving around in Ivan's huge truck during their engagement session.  I could tell it's truly his second love next to Jelly.  I love that they brought their adorable puppy for a few pictures and I absolutely love the way their images came out.  They both tried to convince me that they aren't photogenic and don't like themselves in photos but I think once they see their entire collection of engagement images they'll feel differently.  Here are a few of my favourites.

I had a blast with Sabrina and Franco during their engagement session.  Being around these two makes my heart happy.  They are fun and definitely fashionable - I love the outfits they chose for their session.  They brought Sabrina's brother's beloved Mustang along and we had fun taking it different places and incorporating it into some of their photos.  Franco, a former professional soccer player, had brought a couple of soccer balls along and we also got some shots of them kicking the ball around.  Personalizing engagement sessions with meaningful things always adds some emotional elements to the photos and makes them extra special.  We are so excited to capture their wedding story next September!  (to see more images visit our Facebook Fan Page).

A few months ago Alicia, Matt and I got together for their engagement session (Part I).  We had such a great time.  It was one of those hot, sunny July days and these two didn't let the heat affect them one bit.  Not only are they gorgeous on the outside, but they are wonderful people on the inside.  I remember when they first came over for their initial consultation Matt said "I'm a hugger" and he immediately grabbed Brian and gave him a big hug.  That affection and warmth comes shining through in their images. I love the connection between them.  We had so much fun during their first session that we booked a second session for a couple of weeks later.  This time we met in the evening and a good friend of theirs lent us his beautiful vintage Ford for some fun photos.  Brian also stopped by to try out a new piece of equipment that he had purchased for his cinema work - that teaser trailer can be viewed here.  I had a really hard time choosing my favourites images for the engagement collage so I think I'll post a bunch more on our facebook fan page.  Can't wait to capture their big day next Summer!
